Although Iraq officially protested against the turkish invasion and asked Turkey to pull out their troops from its northern territory (Mosul region), Turkey announced that its troops will stay in Iraq.
And as Deutsche-Wirtschafts-Nachrichten reports, NATO supports the invasion of Iraq by Turkey. Jens Stoltenberg sees it as a positive move: It is important to strengthen the anti-ISIS powers in the region. However, an official deployment of NATO ground forces is not planned yet. So far the main obstacle for sending ground troops is Iraq and president Obama. Pentagon and NATO run by the neocons would send ground forces rather sooner than later.
Russia hasn't reacted to the turkish invasion yet, however, Iraq threatened to ask Russia for help if Turkey doesn't retreat within 48 hours.
